Pricing In Proportion, PiP

PiP is the Royal Mail’s system of charging for postage. 

The GCA worked with the Royal Mail to develop the standard PiP logo that is now used on the back of cards to let the customer know which stamp they need.

All post slightly larger than A5 (over 240mm x 165mm) and with a thickness of more than 5mm (including some handmade and badge cards) is priced at a Large Letter rate. 

Cards and letters smaller than this are priced at the normal Letter tariff.
