How long have you been a GCA Member?

Fedrigoni has been supporting and working alongside the GCA and the greeting card industry for close to 30 years.

What services do you provide that would be of interest to GCA members?

Since 1888, Fedrigoni is synonymous with excellence in the world of specialty papers for greeting cards, fine arts, publishing, packaging, and self-adhesives.

Our expert team of Paper Consultants are dotted around the country and are available to help with enquiries, from samples to orders, and to share their knowledge.

Any of our papers can be requested as a sample sheet available for next day delivery. We can also produce hand-made dummies that help visualise your ideas.

To allow greater flexibility in production, our minimum order is only 20 B1 sheets, which is great for small runs and to test different stocks.

Additionally, thanks to our collaboration with Paper Partner, you can now convert our paper into standard or bespoke envelopes. Through this service you can also find pre-creased cards and shredded paper, made with Fedrigoni paper.

Finally, we invite all our GCA members to visit our London Studio in Clerkenwell. Here, in addition to receiving advice on your project, you will find a library of client work and A4 sample sheets you can take away. We regularly host events, such as the GCA Paper workshop on Wednesday 29th November.

Why are you so good at what you do?

As a manufacturer with a rich history, we take pride in our products and strive to provide the best service for our current and future customers.

With over 3,000 products, the choice is truly yours. Our greeting card swatch All The Best showcases the papers we think are best for greeting cards, ranging from smooth to textured, coated to uncoated, white to coloured. Get in touch to receive your copy.

Are there any innovations in your field that you want to share?

Like many, sustainability is key for Fedrigoni.  Our ESG goals for 2030 are clear: reduce our CO2 emissions; improve the management and recovery of waste and water; select suppliers carefully in compliance with best sustainability practices; and among other points, grow our offer of sustainable products.

In line with this last point, Fedrigoni has developed the perfect board for greeting cards: Symbol Card ECO 100. Made with 100% recycled fibres, it is characterized by a double blade coating satin finish on one side, and an uncoated reverse. Available in long and short grain with excellent printing results, it can adapt to different printing and processing applications. A version with a coating on both sides is also part of the range.

Another paper specially developed for the greeting card market is Liscio Stucco, a smooth, extra white board, which Fedrigoni offer as Carbon Balanced with every order for no additional cost. The ‘Stucco’ coating treatment provides the enhanced printed results of a coated paper, while retaining the uncoated appeal.

Discover Symbol Card ECO 100 and Liscio Stucco, as well as many other papers, in our greeting card swatch: All The Best.

All Fedrigoni products can be Carbon Balanced at a nominal fee.

Who would you like to meet at the GCA Conference?

Our Northern Sales Manager Keith Riley and Sales & Promotion Executive Alex Fraser will be at the GCA Conference.

We would love to have inspiring conversations with publishers who would want to discuss key sustainable products that will shape the future of the greeting card industry in the upcoming years.

We look forward to meeting as many GCA Members as possible! If you can’t make it to the meeting in person, don’t hesitate to get in touch via phone, email or socials.
