How long have you been a GCA Member?

Aspin has been a member of the GCA since 2021. We have been supporting clients in the greeting card sector right back to when the company was founded in 1984.

What services do you provide that would be of interest to GCA members?

Many GCA members will already be familiar with Aspin’s software applications, but for those of you who are not:

Pixsell is a catalogue ordering application for sales reps and agents. The iPad-based system allows your sales teams to maximise revenues and provide a stellar service to retail clients. For the distributors who want to operate 24/7, Aspin offers a trade ordering portal (Intersell) that supports customer specific pricing, promotions, discount codes, credit card payments and more. This year, we have launched a barcode capture app specifically for retailers which allows them to transmit orders, stock counts, requests etc to their sales rep or direct to their supplier.

To ensure that our clients are running data and image rich platforms to take orders on, we also offer SkooCloud DAM/PIM which can create ad hoc catalogues, provide extensive data feeds and store all of your digital assets.

Are there any innovations in your field that you want to share?

At Aspin we pride ourselves on actively seeking out, listening to, and acting on feedback from our customers. By doing this we can ensure that our products remain relevant to our customers and help them to be as successful as possible. Because our products are built using the most up to date, best-in-class, coding language we can incorporate new functionality quickly and frequently. For example, our catalogue and sales app for reps and agents, PixSell 3, has just been given its 27th update since being rebuilt from the ground up and relaunched 2 years ago. A huge proportion of these updates were based on customer requests and with remaining changes being remedial bug fixes.

What do you like most about the industry?

Helping our customers achieve the best they can do by removing the frustration of selling is really what drives us to be the best supplier in your industry. Of course, with technology always evolving and innovating, we never tire of introducing new features and functions and giving customers the “wow factor”.

Who would you like to meet at the GCA Conference?

We are friendly team who like nothing better than getting out from under our desks and renewing acquaintances with existing customers (and friends) and meeting potential new customers. We are delighted to be sponsoring the GCA conference again this year.
