Nestled in the heart of London, Urban Steppin, a small greeting card business, celebrates diversity and urban culture. We create hand-drawn greeting cards that reflect the vibrant urban world. Using ink, acrylic paint, and digital media, our work has unique styles and influences, ensuring there's a unique gift for everyone. Our award-winning illustrative designer, Lois Wynter-Hinchliffe brings her unique life experiences to every creation. Raised in a multicultural environment, Lois’ designs feature Black, Latin, urban, and modern figures, celebrating the beauty of different cultures. Growing up in a multicultural family environment, it was extremely challenging to buy cards that represent all family members. In 2023, we decided to make a change! It was our mission to create cards that celebrate all shades of people, celebrating diverse and multi-cultural environments. Inspired by local communities around London, we wanted our cards to positively represent the diverse society around us. Every card has a narrative, and every design represents an individual.
