I’m Nicky, the Designer Maker of unique and joyful, vibrant wool art, greeting cards and gifts.
Birds and flowers are my focus, which I make into stylised forms. For the original artwork I use bright coloured roving wool which I hand needle felt with a singular needle and embellish with hand embroidery stitches after edging with my signature metal zip edging.
The elements are all created individually and then mounted on card at different levels to add extra depth and dimension to each finished piece of artwork before photographing them to create high quality professionally printed greeting cards.
Since starting my business in 2022, my products are now stocked at National Trust Tatton Park stately home gift shops in Cheshire, England. In several UK and US Independents including Memphis Botanic Gardens. With over 5,000 Etsy Sales, two Etsy Bestseller greeting cards, Star Seller status and my cards given the ‘Etsy Pick’ seal of approval.
All products are printed here in the UK, using FSC certified stock, and unless otherwise stated are plastic free.
