Order processing
Dispatching orders / raising dispatch tickets on various courier web sites
Raising & emailing invoices
Customer service via phone, email and web site chat
Order processing –
Orders come in from various avenues – email, web site and phone calls. All processed on Sage 50cloud Accounts, also logged on Excel spreadsheet for production
Dispatch –
Liaise with production for orders to be dispatched – book with the correct courier company via web sites, print off dispatch tickets and complete the order process on Sage. Update Excel spreadsheet. Book in deliveries where required. Help production with the everyday courier collections
Invoicing –
Complete the order process on Sage, raise an invoice, email direct to customers/deal with any queries
Customer Service –
Communicate with customers with dispatch dates/courier tracking numbers etc.
Deal with customer queries and issues/orders/product information/lead times via email/web site and phone calls. Forward product enquiries (email/calls) to relevant people.
Other responsibilities –
liaise with courier companies to ensure their service runs smoothly and deal with any invoice/delivery/damage queries
(Ideal experience – Sage, Microsoft Office Applications, Shopify, good communication, able to multitask)
